Abdul Qadir is Associate Director in PwC Pakistan, an experienced technology consultant, advisor, trainer and keynote speaker and has led several technology advisory engagements over 16 years of experience spanning IT Operations and Project Management, Cyber security and IT Risk assessments, IT Audit, IT Due diligence, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning, IT Governance and IT Strategy development for several clients in the Financial Services, Energy, Manufacturing and Telecommunication sectors. He has a proven track record in being able to present and influence at the board and C-suite level. His thought leadership is evidenced through speaking invitations to various technology and IT Security conferences and has been interviewed by the multiple TV channels on Cyber Security and a variety of technology blogs and publications.
He holds BE in Computer Systems and MBA in Finance. He also upholds professional prestigious certifications including CISA, PMP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and Implementer, MCITP (Enterprise) and HP Certified Platform Specialist. Abdul Qadir was formerly associated with Pakistan Refinery Limited heading their IT department having responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of whole IT Infrastructure & networks round the clock.
He is highly methodical, result-oriented and business savvy IT Professional reflecting strong qualification coupled with exclusive IT Operations, Project Management and Risk, Governance and Compliance expertise concluding it as a total package of technology leadership and business acumen. He is a member of PMI and ISACA and has comprehensive understanding of various tools and methodologies of International Standards. In his academic role, he works as a lecturer for Information Security and Project Management courses at several Institutions across Pakistan.
