He is the former Chairman of Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers’ Association (2010-2011); an association of 250 plus members and the only voice of Pharmaceutical Industry. While in this position he had earned reputation for embracing people from all kinds of background & handling a diverse portfolio, & for championing the cause of Pharma Industry. He is also admired for his tenacity for handling bureaucracy on everyday basis as he advocated the case of Pakistan Pharma industry as its captain.
Haroon Qassim extensive corporate experience also includes his role as the Executive Director of Premier Distributors and Premier Agencies, one of the largest distribution houses in Pakistan. His intelligence & savvy approach has helped Premier agencies immensely in expanding its growth exponentially. He also sits at the board of English Biscuits Manufacturers, Peek Freans brand who reaps the benefits from his wisdom on how to amplify its business impact.
Being a firm believer in investing and supporting youth, Haroon Qassim has also served Memon Professional Forum (MPF) from the year 2011 to 2012 as the president. The MPF was formed to foster Networking amongst members of various discipline such as Doctors, Engineers, Architects, Accountants, and Lawyers etc.

His education includes Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from LOYOLA UNIVERSITY, CHICAGO one of the distinguished universities in USA known for its bright alumni who already earned Emmy, Grammy, Peabody, and Pulitzer awards. He also completed his (C.P.A.) CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT from the State of Illinois, USA.
